My husband bought me a spinning wheel for Christmas...tonight I took a lesson and now I am a spinning queen...two spools are filled and before bedtime I am going to fill a third.
I finished up the second black fingerless glove tonight so tomorrow is mailing day!! pics to follow:
Living with a lapband after seeing goal is just as much work as getting there. This blog chronicles my journey to qualify for band surgery, my work to goal weight and now living with the band long term. Weight will always be an issue but there is a whole lot of living to be done.

The fingerless gloves my friend knit for me a couple of years ago are one of my favorite things EVER. She also knit me the best pair of socks I will ever own (given the cost of yarn, probably the most expensive socks I will ever own too). I am in awe of you crafty types, Tina!
That is so neat. Hope you get a lot of use out of it.
