Popping in for a quick 2am update.

  • The knitting store opened on Friday and it was good.
  • Being nice to customers is hard work :).
  • I have met so many of my neighbors and so far they are all happy to see the store.
  • I registered 3 people for classes, sold some yarn and a book.
  • two weeks ago I drove to San Fran for a conference.  I had a great relaxing week in the sun before coming home to hard work.
  • I drove some friends back home with me and introduced the Brit and two Irishmen to what real mountains look like :)
  • I also taught the guys to eat burgers in a car :)  (I didn't have one..they did)
  • Pictures some day :)

Yes there are no real mountains over here nor any decent burgers. I don't care what anyone says, you cannot get better burgers than in the USA.

I am glad your opening went well. Long may it continue.

So good to hear from you! Glad the store is off to a good start. Wish I was closer - I've always wanted to learn to knit.

I checked out your website and thought about you on your opening day-- I'm glad you conquered it!

Are you going to Chicago?

Tina, how exciting that you opened your store! I also want to learn how to knit, in my free time;)
Hope all things are well; I'm trying to get back into the active blogging and relationships. I missed catching up on your blog and how you were doing.
