Picture Time-My Phone is Smokin...and so is the cat.

The cat loves catnip. We popped into the pet store to pick up a scratching cardboard thingy and talked to the shop owner who cared for her for a month. This woman said that by sprinkling cat nip into the cat tower/scratching post that she would soon use it. We came home and gave it a good sprinkling and voila..these are pictures of one stoned cat hanging in her house. :) She is settling in better than any cat I have ever owned before. Two thumbs up for Kokamo.
I made a little batch of evil this week. On Facebook there is this 100 foods you should try in your lifetime survey. I will include it next. none of us had tried frito pie and thought..well..come on...it sounds to good to miss after the nastiness that was sea urchin. I made it for dinner. It was tasty of course. I made it with homemade chili and sprinkled freshly chopped heirloom tomatoes on the top to appease my guilt.

Served on a plate.

Grace liked it.

David Liked it.

To further appease my guilt I made little crustless Quiches and popped them in ziplock bags for quick high protein meals. David has been reheating two for breakfast. Grace has been avoiding them but did say they were good when I made her eat one yesterday.
